Performance  to Aretha Franklin Tribute

Yolanda Adams, Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, Martina McBride, and Florence Welsh honor the soulfoul Aretha Franklin, at the 2011 Grammy Awards.

I guess it took five voices to properly honor the ailing Aretha Franklin. Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride, Yolanda Adams and Florence Welch took turns belting out Franklin’s best-known hits. The tribute was followed by a televised greeting from the Queen of Soul herself, who was noticeably thinner after being hopsitalized late last year.

Franklin stated: ”I wish that I could have been with you all tonight, but since I couldn’t, next year.“
