Andre Harrell’s new group Hamilton Park will kick start their career on October 11th with the release of their self-titled full-length debut EP. Members Anthony, Mr. Marcus Lee, Chris Voice and Royce P have been honing their vocal skills for years and are now ready to let the world know they’re not just another made up R&B group.
Hamilton Park is a brotherhood born on the basketball courts of Hamilton Park Recreation Center in Atlanta. The four boys grew up singing in their church choirs before being discovered by legendary music mogul Andre Harrell in 2010 through his partnership with Radio One’s ”Superstar Soul Search,“ later becoming the first group signed to his label, Harrell Records.
”They were church boys, but they were masculine,“ Harrell says of HP. ”I liked their relationship with each other and the way they blended in and out. They’re like four heads thinking as one.“
The debut EP is preceded by the singles ”Computer Love“ and ”Thing Called Us.“
”We’re bringing the real essence, the real R&B back to the bedroom. The stuff Ron Isley used to sing about. It’s tasteful, but graceful,“ group member Royce P said. ”It’s passionate and us being us. We’re young and we’re real strong with our love. We pull out the chair, we carry bags and do everything right. So when it comes time. … We do it for the sheets.“
Anthony adds: ”We do it for the ladies. We’re connoisseurs of love. We emphasize the fact that we are young men who are connoisseurs of love. It’s love in the most masculine, most manly way.“
Hamilton Park will be featured on the upcoming Scream Tour with Diggy, Mindless Behavior, The New Boyz, Jacob Latimore, and The OMG Girlz, starting September 30. See dates here and tickets will go on sale soon www.screamtour.com.
